The Diet Thing
This is the second incarnation of this blog. First, it was a homepage for a diet I created called, "The Diet Thing". It was named this because people kept asking me if I was still doing that, "Diet Thing" I was always talking about. The diet I created worked, I lost 25 lbs. in 10 weeks.
Sadly, I gained all the weight back over the course of a year. I reverted back to bad habits, got lazy and forwent excercise for more lesiurely activities. As the pounds came back my skinny clothes because unwearable and my fat clothes became my skinny clothes. It was either invest in a new wardrobe or lose some weight. Also, I had tipped over the reach of petitie clothes and it was very hard to find nice size 16 petites. So, since my weight was only going to increase, I figured I had to head it off at the pass.
So, in an fit of impulse I joined Weight Watchers Online. It was roughly similar to the plan I had created (based primarily on calorie counting) and since it's been around forever, I figured had some credibility. The best part, no meetings. I'm fairly up on health and information and I know the reasons I overeat so I was not too keen on an hour of "self help" every week.
So, here I am. Here to impart any food/health news I can find and give recipies as I discover them. Please note that I am not a dietitican nor a nutirionist and I am not affliated with Weight Watchers except as a member. Also, all points values given on the site are approximate and should be verified if you are following this plan through the recipie builder. Also if you're an E-tools member or an online member, I usually submit orginal receipies to the Community forum under the name lisamariepava.
